Republican Primary Elections and Early Voting

The primary election is June 22nd. If you are not registered as a Republican you cannot vote in the Republican primary. You can change parties at the voting location if you are registered for a different party, but if you are unaffiliated you will not be able to vote.

Early voting runs from June 8-18

Some precincts will be sent their ballots via mail and will not have a physical polling place to go to. For more detailed information on voting visit http://kvnuforthepeople.com/2010/05/21/primary-registration-voting-information/

Challengers:

Legislative District 5 (the South West end of Logan and the South end of Cache Valley) will choose between incumbent Curt Webb and challenger Chuck Bateman for the Utah House of Representatives. You can listen to a debate between the two at this link: http://podcast.cachevalleydaily.com/FTP-06-03-2010B.mp3

Everyone in the valley will have the opportunity to vote for the county recorder's office. The race is against incumbent Michael Gleed vs challenger Stanley Palmer. (As far as we know they do not have websites).

Every Republican in the state will have the opportunity to vote for either Mike Lee or Tim Bridgewater for the US Senate seat.

Please research these candidates carefully. Examine what they say and their backgrounds and make an informed decision as you step into the voting booth. Happy voting!
